Buckingham Palace!
You can only see this in the blazing months of the English summer, but you may be intrigued to know that The Queen received the official ‘Order of the Aztec Eagle’ from the President of Mexico during her state visit there in 1973.

It was on display (back in 2006) amongst a collection of Her Majesty’s insignia in the Ballroom, the largest room in the Palace (where investitures and state banquets are held). Since coming to the throne in 1952, The Queen has visited over 325 countries on official duties and received over 80 foreign orders - the largest number ever received by a British sovereign.

In the ‘Americas and Middle East’ section is this beautiful necklace and gold pendant; clearly visible is the Mexican national emblem portraying the founding of Tenochtitlan by the Aztecs in 1325.
