Uriel, Faviola’s 7-year-old brother from Oapan, Guerrero, Mexico, introduces himself in Náhuatl, Spanish and English.
Watch the video
The script of what Uriel says goes as follows:- ‘Nextili ’My name is Uriel ’Me llamo Uriel ’Notoca Uriel’
‘Nextili’ means ‘Hello’, so, when Uriel says Nextili - notoca Uriel he’s saying ‘Hello, my name is Uriel’. Now you should be able to say ‘Hello, my name is ____’ in Náhuatl! (Remember, the ‘x’ is pronounced ‘sh’)
