Aztec headdresses at St. Nicolas School, Cranleigh

St Nicolas CE School, Cranleigh

On our seventh visit to St. Nicolas School, Cranleigh, Surrey (2006) we were treated to a surprise by our good friend Sue Pescodd and her colleagues - the children had produced a lovely range of Aztec headdresses as part of their art project linked to the Aztecs in History.

Apart from the friendly, welcoming and gentle atmosphere of keen anticipation that always greets us at St Nicolas, we were further impressed by the presence of a group of Year 6 boys who returned to the hall (after our presentation), while we were packing away, and asked if they could study our large copy of the Aztec Sunstone.
