Aztec artwork at Emmer Green Primary School

Emmer Green Primary School, Reading

We’ve been working at Emmer Green Primary School, on the outskirts of Reading, for over 20 years now (2016), visiting them every two years, and have enjoyed every visit. We’re always made to feel genuinely welcome by teachers, site staff and children, and we warm to the friendly, positive, supportive atmosphere in the school each time.

Our sincere thanks to Tonia Crossman (now Head), Nichola Mullins and their colleagues and pupils for inviting and hosting us so well each time. Please can we come back...?!

Check out here (below) the quality of the Yr. 6’s Aztec art and design work, including a wooden Aztec-style maquahuitl (broadsword, alongside our own obsidian-bladed one), double-headed turquoise mosaic emblem, jaguar mask and portrait of Tlaloc (rain god)...
